The LSU Museum of Art (LSU MOA) offers internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate university students to experience many facets of museum work. Interns assist the LSU MOA professional staff in collection management, collection and exhibition research, education and exhibition program development and production, and public relations. Internships give students meaningful and practical experience in museum work to aid their future career decisions.

Interns, with prior support from a faculty member, are welcome to contact the LSU MOA about their special interests in museum work. Course credits for internships depend on the university program. The LSU MOA works in concert with faculty to ensure that internships meet university curriculum objectives.

The LSU MOA accommodates internship applications on a case-by-case basis at any time of the year from all universities. Decisions to proceed with an internship depend on the museum's current activities and staff resources and consider how the museum will meet the student's internship objectives.

For information about the internship program, contact Becky Adams, Administrative Coordiantor, 225.389.7201; radam14@lsu.edu.
